Hey all-

what would/could I change to get this a bit cleaner; it's seems to provide more drive with the filter than I'd like.

I did not build it, but want to 'smooth' it out a bit.

The Naughty Fish is a Madbean product. You'll probably have better luck at their forums, although there is a good bit of overlap between the two communities, and it's possible someone here at BYOC could help.

The input Gain pot has a big influence on how the envelope follower responds so there may be a limit to how far down you can ratchet that. But, the obvious place to start would be with higher values of R1 to reduce the output of IC1-A. Or, you could leave that as is, and mess with higher values of R4 (4k7). A 100k-220k there would reduce a bit of the output through the filter section while preserving the envelope response. Or maybe turning R4 into a pot or trimmer. You might find it hard to fit in a 1590B at that point, though.
