Hi. I'm very keen to buy a super8 kit but i wanted to get a little advice about it first. I already have a gigrig midi8 switcher which works great but it only has 6 loops, I've kind of outgrown that limitation. The gigrig has a 'ext' connector which could connect to other gigrig products to deselect loops when it changes patches. There is a demo of it here:

Unfortunately the gigRig have moved on to newer products and no longer support this feature (they won't even reply to my email queries about it..) I'm hoping to modify a super8 so that a signal from the gigrig's ext connector can engage the bypass, but not disengage it (hope that makes sense..). Can any of you guys give me any insight if this is possible?
Thanks and best :)
