Hello,

Quick question on my first time build:

I rec'd a 362 capacitor instead of the 392. I installed the 362. Will this make a difference or really impact the sound? Should I put a request in for a replacement?

Part listed in instructions:
1 - 3n9/.0039uF Film cap (“392” on the body)

Thanks for the help!

Alistair

It will change the tone a slight bit, sure. Will it be noticeable? Probably not. Send an email to sales@buildyourownclone.com and we'll send you a new cap regardless.

Are you certain you are reading that correctly? There is no 362 value caps. They go .0022, .0027, .0033, .0039, .0047..., but there is no .0036. At least not that I've ever seen. I'm sure you could get that value custom made, but it's not a common value that you can buy off the rack.
