Does anyone have experience with this?
What kind of clipping does the POT use?

I have NO experience with this pedal. I can't find anything on the Prince of Tone, but the KING of Tone apparently uses two different types of Japanese NOS silicon epitaxial planar diodes--the Panasonic MA856 and the Toshiba 1S1588. Both have forward voltage threshold values in the 0.7 VDC range, which is comparable to modern silicon diodes like the 1N914 or 1N4148, so I would think these could be used as virtual equivalents.

The prince of tone is a clone of the Marshall Bluesbreaker, so just look at the settings for that from the demo video. The prince of tone has a few minor modifications, so you'll need to tweak it slightly, but dialing it in as a Marshall Bluesbreaker will get you 95% of the way.
