First timer here interested in getting into the diy pedal world. Wanted to start by modding my bd-2 with a phat mod and stumbled upon byoc's mod kit for the blue overdrive. Would I be able to use the mod kit on my bd-2 using the same instructions? Sorry for the noob question, couldn't find a direct answer via Google.

No. Our mod instructions are specific to our PCB layout, which is different from BOSS' layout. Do you have one of the newer BD-2 with surface mount components, or the older version with through-hole components?

That's good. It will be a lot easier to mod. There's a lot of info out there. You just need to sift through it all.

Now that you are offering some other pedal mods, is the Boss BD-2 in the works?

Yes. It is in the works. We'll be offering our versions of the "phat" mod and the "tweed" mod.
