Coming off the heels of my second byoc build, I figured i'd fix up an old nyc big muff I bought broken on Craigslist. When replacing the old true bypass switch with one of byoc's 3pdt switch, soldering as usual (heating the connection, no direct contact between the solder and soldering iron) wasn't working. Then I was horrified when I realized that I had bent the actual pin on the 3pdt out of place with the heat of the iron! Tested it with the multimeter, no continuity. So while I'm waiting for the next switch in the mail, do you pedal veterans have any soldering advice specifically about connections with the 3pdt switch for me to chew on?
