Hello, I'm wondering if there is a list of BYOC pedals that can safely use more than 9V for power. I noticed the spring reverb kit can run up to 18V and it got me curious if there are others that are known good for 12V or 18V input. Thanks!

Quite a few of the BYOC pedals can safely run at 18V, but I'm not aware of the existence of an actual list. Maybe Keith can elucidate....

As long as it does NOT have one of the following:

1. charge pump
2. MN320x series BBD (bucket brigade delay)
3. CA3260

Everything else can run safely at 18v. But safely doesn't necessarily mean it will "work". You can run almost any fuzz at 18v but it probably won't sound very good. You can run a JFET based phaser at 18v, but it's not going to do anything. In fact, most LFO circuits don't like anything over 12v. The spring reverb module runs at 5v and the Li'l reverb module runs at 3.3v, but they have internal voltage regulators. The rest of their circuits run on whatever the input voltage is. You could run those up to 24v if you wanted to.
