Random question. Is the same hookup wire that is for sale on the BYOC site the same that comes in the kits? 24 AWG ? I have some left over and I am wondering what it is and if I can use it one guitar wiring / mods.

You can use it for guitar wiring. I prefer a lower gauge, but there’s no audible difference. I love the wire, not so much the color.

Meh, I don’t hate it. I tend to color code my stuff, red, black etc. I use green for in and yellow for out because my test rig is wired that way.

As I built more pedals I definitely liked using colored wires to help keep this clear!
