I just got a notification that the blue overdrive mod kit was in stock.
Just checked it and is already out of stock... 5 hours later! Dang!

Doesn't show out of stock from here. There aren't any painted enclosures available, but you should be able to order it with the bare enclosure.

I think the post was in reference to this product: Blue Overdrive Mod Pack, which does appear to be out of stock.

My bad, read right past that word "mod" in the post title!

The mod kit is just a handful of diodes, caps , resistors and a single mini-toggle switch. If you don't want to wait for it to come back in stock, you can probably order all of that from Mouser, Digi-Key, Tayda, etc. Might run a few bucks more but still shouldn't be very expensive. Parts list:

Diodes:
2 - 1N4002
Capacitors:
2 - 47p Silver Mica
2 - 100p Silver Mica
1 - 220p Silver Mica
1 - 183/.018uf film
2 - 104/.1uF film
2 - 10uF Tantalum
Hardware:
1 - SPDT ON/ON Toggle switch

Yes thank you! I figured I jumped the gun and posted my surprised response too soon...
My guess was the email reminder preceded the webshop update. Though, I would not have been surprised at all if there was that much demand for things that have been out of stock for a while.
