Does BYOC have a Univibe clone? I don't see one in the list.

I don't know how they work, but looking at the copies that are available, there are more than one way to produce the effect. I think the original uses a lightbulb and an opto sensor? From what I've read, nothing sounds like the original, so if BYOC could make one, I vote for the original design with the usual enhancements like true bypass or good buffering etc.

Yep! The 'lighthouse' is what we are spending the most time working on, trying to reinvent it with modern components.

We are hoping to do a Univibe module for the PR. Currently, the Optocoupler Module would be the closest in terms of technology, since it uses optocouplers for the phase. But the Univibe uses transistors instead of opamps, and different component values, so the tone and feel will be different.

I've already said this somewhere, but man would a PR Univibe module + expression pedal be super sweet.

Rg keen has such a great write up on the unavibe.
And his pcb has been out for years. It works very well.
That said, it’s not byoc level, with the plated hole troughs,
Silkscreens, and pcb mounted pots, not even sure if all the parts
Are available? The photoresistors and grain of sand bulbs?
I do have a few older pcbs laying around someplace.
Be cool to see an updated version of it, that’s for sure...

Why does robin trower come to mind? Lol
