BYOC universal power supply with 6 - 8 x 9V outlets, 1 12VAC outlet, 2 outlets with adjustable outputs up to 24VDC, 2 outlets with voltage sag capabilities (that would definitely be a killer power supply!!)

BYOC 7-band EQ!

Any other u guys have in mind??

Disclaimer: What i have suggested above might not be what is actually released in the next few months (??)

My suggestion would be a clean, simple 4 or 5 out isolated, power supply. Something small and inexpensive enough that if you needed more you could buy two. If you wanted "sag" you could probably do dano's variable power mod to it.

All that cool tube gear that Keith was mentioning would be cool too (ie Champ, Tube Reverb Vibrato, etc)

I would love to see more things like the slow gear, vibrato, mu-tron an octave pedal maybe? something different you know?

Keith I think it would be cool if you put up a poll of the effects that you are planing on putting out and we can vote on the ones we would like to see the most!!

Just an idea,

I'd like to see some sort of octave up, like the Foxx Tone or something like that. Foxx Tone originals are a bit pricey, plus the velvet-like stuff they use on the originals and re-ssiues has me wondering about durablilty issues, and the Danelectro French Toast is too cheap.

Maybe bring back some sort of ring modulator for those of use who are interested in those but don't want to pay some crazy ass price for a DOD Gonkulator or some other overpriced ring modulator.

I would say the top 3 projects that we averagely request for kits would be a power supply, flange and a GOOD univibe clone.

4-5 outputs would be good.. especially if each can give out about 500mA.. then we can daisy chain about 5 pedals to each output.. hmm.. wld definitely plonk down cash for the power supply once its out (if and when it does come out, i somehow forsee a drop in prices of the pp2 and dc brick; which actually means there shld be a pre-sale for byoc members only.. :P)

I'd like a nice dedicated power supply too. Flanger would be cool, and I'd like to see a square wave trem.

i don't think keith is going to have anything new for a while... i mean he did release seven new kits this year. (Wah, Rat, 250+, Muff, VB-2, Envelope Filter, Lazy Sproket)

keith, man... after the sale, dude, take a nap.

I don't expect anything new for a while; Keith did put out a crapload of kits.

But, since we're talking about it anyway... I'd like to see a power supply kit, a graphic EQ, and an octave-down.

Analog Delay >600ms with delay & dry outs
or anything that masks my crappy playing...

I like my Dunlop DC-10 Brick PS <$100, 1000ma, 7 - 9v & 3 - 18v jacks, power conditioner, fully regulated, no hum, compact, built like a tank.

You can do a simple dry out mod. The old Delay with FX loop kits had them, you just plug the second amp /effect into the send part of the loop.

I think I would like a vibe/phaser/Leslie clone, with expression pedal input. Difficult? probably. Expensive? Yeah. Big? Hell yeah. But damn, would it be cool.

Analog Delay... sorry, but I just can't seem to warm up to the digitals... Keith's is nice but when it comes to delays I'm an elitist snob... 8)

BTW: I went to my Dr. the other day and he said he wanted to do a digital exam on me... I thought that meant he wanted me to count in binary... boy... was I wrong...

Another vote for a power supply kit... with something like six 9V outlets and two adjustable.

I'd also love to see a vibe kit.

yeah, growing too fast can be just as dangerous as growing too slow

If anyone is interested, especially you Keith, I have desinged an eight independent 9VDC 200 mA power supply that also has a 9VAC 2000mA tap for Line 6 type pedals. I have the circuit board drawn as a picture and all of the various components saved at Mouser. The only thing I have not found for it yet, looking for something see-thru, is an enclosure. the CB is about 5" long and the transformer is another 2.5" one way and the other way would be somewhere around 4" and about 2" tall. If anyone has a suggestion for the enclosure I would appriciate it.

i would love to have a filter setup like on the moogerfooger mf-101. you could actually start a whole new line of shit with cv ins and outs, basically a modular effects unit that all these engineers around here can modify and mess with. personally, i would like to be able to use sample and hold on a lp filter, and the envelope follower on the 101 makes me happy too. is this type of thing in violation of copyright? i have heard people refering to the moog "ladder" filter, but i am not sure what that means or if it is illegal to copy.

do you think these things would be possible to do?
-filter (low pass, high pass, band pass + cutoff and resonance controls and envelope follower)
-something like the cp-251, with modulation and other control options
-bit crusher - send that beautiful analog straight to hell
-looper - not like the zvex lofi looper, more like a cut down maneco
-cheap reverb - the old radioshack kind, with a post fx compressor

http://www.bugbrand.co.uk/pages/sounddevices.htm
they have a bit crusher with an lfo for controling the sample rate

you guys do a great job here at byoc and i cant wait til your back
thanks
-mike

I'd love to see a clone sometime of these admittedly more complicated than average projects:

Boss Dimension C
Mu-tron octave divider
Mu-tron III
EH attack decay

I'll second the request for a Mu-tron Octave divider (including the green ringer) clone.
