Are we able to change our password? I can't see how or where outside of having forgotten it and having one generated for me. Now that one has been created for me, I'd like to change it to something less random. I've been on the User Control Panel and don't see the option.

Yep! It's buried a bit, but you were on the right track.

User Control Panel > Profile > Edit account settings
