While the Li'l Reverb rolls on the 'verb pretty quickly, what you describe doesn't sound normal. Could you please post a photo or two of the component side of the PCB? Please make them LARGE, well-lit and well-focused.

Thats it.it comes on fast. With the pot starting at full cc (7oclock) by the time you hit 9oclock its VERY strong.i m trying to tame the onset. If you still think something sounds wrong i ll post pics but it sounds like the same thing i ve been reading about.

OK, I was just interpreting your "all or nothing" comment as implying that the depth control went to full-on as soon as you started turning it CW. So it sounds like you would just like the depth to start at a lower point as it begins to roll on. Is it OK with you if it does this but won't reach the same degree of depth at the full CS setting vs. what it currently will?

I'd probably try changing the taper of the reverb pot. It's a B or linear taper pot. If you use an A or log taper pot it will make it come on more slowly. You don't need to use a 50k value. Anything between 10k and 1M will work. R11 sets the max reverb level. If you want to force the controls to be more subtle by reducing the overall amount of max reverb, increase the value of this resistor.
