Hi All!

I have all 3 variations of the Silver Ponies.

I love the tone on the original (V2) with the toggles set to the "Fat" and "Ge1" positions.

Are there mods I can do to the Li'l Pony and the Silver Pony 2 to get that tone?

Thanks!
~Troy

Ge1 is the "stock" clipping setting, so the Li'l and SP2 are already set to that. The 82n capacitor (C4 on the SP2 and C6 on the Li'l) is the thin/full/fat cap. In "fat" mode, the toggle switch places a 390n cap in parallel, which creates a 472n capacitance. So you can achieve the same thing by replacing the 82n cap with a 470n cap.

Right on! Thanks!

How about the Silver Pony 2 (the big one with the separate boost switch)?

Can it be modified for the same result?

I just swapped out the 82n caps for the 470n's like you said and that did the trick!

Absolute Tonal Fantasctic-ness!

Thanks!!
