 Post subject: 855 Drive Mod question

So I am considering adding a diode selector circuit via a GGG rotary board to my 855 drive. My question is, do I just remove both diodes from the 855 PCB and just attach the two wires from the rotary board to where one of the diodes was located? (see attached photo)

Yep. But use the OUTER diode eyelets on the 855 board, not the inner ones as you have shown. See marked up image below:

Not that it matters, but just out of curiosity, what would be the purpose of the 4 'inner' attachment points?

They are there so you can add two diodes in series.
