I thought I might start a new thread on this.

So, even if you use laser decals who do you like? I figure their ink jet counterparts might be good too?

I know folks have had good results with the decals papers from Papilio

The stuff Small Bear sells is good. Thick enough to hang together when applying, thin enough to disappear under lacquer. I've used both their clear laser stock and their white inkjet stock with equally good results. I don't know what brand it is.

^This. I've used inkjet waterslide decal stock from Papilio for years with excellent results.

I just realized I didn't put into my new thread what was is my old/new thread.

Papillo no longer sells water slide decals. I called them and was told that they might do a large order for a large customer but otherwise they don't see retail any more.

Guess I'll go to Small Bear next time I need water slide stock. I think I may try the stick-on stuff in the meantime--Jeff's pedals look great with it!

I thought about it too but man this old dog just doesn't like change!

I ended up ordering some on line. SB was way more price wise. I got 24, I think it is, new ones and figure either this will last quite some time or I will toss them out and eat $20  I still have a few of my Papilo left but not enough.

FWIW: I recently got some Hayes Paper Co. Inkjet waterslide paper from Amazon and it's working fine for me. I do have to let it soak a little longer than they recommend to get a good slide, and it's A4 paper but my printer can deal with that.
