I can't seem to remember what the exact numbers were on the 5 volt regulator??? Does anyone know this?

I got my 2399's from http://www.futurlec.com, I just typed in pt2399 and it came up ($1.45). It's exactly the same as the one in the kit.

but I'm lost on the 5v reg. Been looking through mousers catalog but they just have too many to choose from...

Any help out there??

Hey guys,
Here is a +5V regulator that will work. I have used this brand for the +9V for my pedal power supply. A real quick "lesson" on how to tell what is what on a regulator, 78 means that it is possitive, 79 means that it is negative and the last two digits are the voltage. So a 7805 is a +5V and a 7905 would be a -5V.

I just bought these: ( Mouser part number 512-LM78L05ACZX )they are fairchild 5v pos regulators. They only put out 100ma max though...is this enough? They are the only ones I found that looked like the regulators that come with the BYOC delay kits. ie. they look like a regular transistor not an FET type.
