WRONG FORUM SORRY - MOVED TO DIY DISCUSSION

I sat down to build my Ultimate Fuzz today, and I noticed
the leads on one of the transistor sockets were broken off.

Does the nub on the bottom fit through the holes on the
PCB enough to allow for soldering?

I was planning on building the Si version, so can I forgo the
sockets if I can't use them and solder the Si trannies direct?

Thanks.
