As always, the pics below are clickable thumbs:

Image

Comparison of switches. The green ones (which we are getting) are MUCH smoother than the blue ones I have always used. I like them.

Image

4 of the new Mammoth 'neutrik knockoffs'.

Image

Mammoth pair on the left, Neutrik pair on the right.

Image

Mammoth on the left, Neutrik on the right.

I also had a picture which I forgot to upload of Genuine Switchcraft jacks, 3 of them, each with a slightly different color of wafer. Just for illustration.

I didn't take time to shoot a movie, but I did mount the jacks and plug & unplug a 1/4 cable just to see how they felt. I noticed that on the contacts, the metal on the new jacks was barely thinner than the Neutrik.

But the REAL measure is resiliency. How well does the contact snap back into place, and how well does it maintain pressure against the guitar cable.

The guys that will ONLY use Switchcraft will not like these. I am NOT one of those guys. I use both Neutrik and Switchcraft, depending on the customer requests, but on all my non-commissioned work, I use Neutriks.

Until now. I will be ordering 100 each of the new Mono and Stereo Mammoth jacks.

Hope that helps!

Chris

Cool, thanks for taking those pics.
The jacks seem nice.
So just to be clear. Is the price per piece, for each item basically set
at this point? Meaning, the deadline is basically now...are the qty discounts
basically set/reached.

I am looking jumping on board at 200 mono and 200 stereo jacks and possibly pots.
What is the rough price per part at this point? (for the items listed in the sign up charts)
Sorry if I missed this info elsewhere.
Thanks

Oh, and are the C taper pots for sure? I'd like some 25KC pots!

John

Yes - We have made enough quantity to get 500+ pricing on all the pots (not 9MM or 24MM) and jacks. I have been stuck in meetings (not fun ones!) all afternoon.

I will try to get some prices up this evening.

Chris

Nice! I wonder how the new mammoth jacks will hold over time, do they come with locking washers(or at least the washers with the three protruding marks to hold the jack in place?)
Do they hold the cable tightly and snugly like the last time we did a group buy for jacks?

I should be getting the last of the invoices out tonite.

Does one of you geniuses know how to modify Page #2 to have totals like we have on Page #1?

They DO hold the jack tightly. The samples I received have a flat washer.

Chris,

Don't trust those totals on page 1. They are only adding up the cells without any text in it. So if a column has 20PCB, the 20 is not counted because the spreadsheet treats it as text.

The formula to add a column is =sum(a1:a100). That would add all NUMERIC cells in column A from row 1 to row 100

I am a bass player. This means nothing to me. But since we are in the same time zone, PM me your phone number and I'll call you in the middle of the night if I have questions.

Thx!

Chris,

Just paid, but looking at the invoice I have a question about the 3PDTs.

My invoice showed them at $3.22 each. The 500+ price on Mammoth is $2.60

???

I don't even drink.

I will make adjustments on all the invoices that have gone out, and correct the pricing for the ones I have yet to send.

We are getting THIS switch at $2.60. I have a dozen emails, and grabbed the figures off the wrong message. I apologize.

The payments have been stellar. I need to issue a few refunds for overcharges, but I am not holding up the order for that. I had one straggler that added to our numbers. I should have the order completed momentarily.

The people that raised me call me Christopher, as did an ex-GF, so I would prefer you didn't.

Cool beano.

Speaking of that, no worries on my end. If you jam it into a smaller box then keep the rest for the trouble, seriously.
