The Chandler (non RoSH) stuff from mammoth is relatively cheap and it works well.
If you have a better source let us know.

Check out Techni-Tool. Their pricing on Kester (which I prefer) is generally quite good.

Kester rules.

I didn't think the solder brand made any difference until I got a spool of Kester. It's like butter. 8)

Kester 63/37 0.020" RMA core.

thin enough for SMT work, thick enough for through-hole work. Ideal if you only want one roll.

I also have a roll of 0.025" that is fine as well.

I would love to get some Kester for that cheap. I would definitely be in if we were buying those. Sign me up :lol:

The cheapest I have found it available to me is Newark for 54 plus shipping for a LB

wow that's a great price, unfortunately they have a min $250.00 min order for first time credit card users
that same roll is over $60.00 here where I live

Huh, that's new. I've bought from them a handful of time and I am not sure I've ever spent $250. It might be worth a phone call to them.
