Hey guys,

I'm hoping to get back to building after a bit of a hiatus and realized I'm out of good ribbon wire (I believe it was Kunfuz who had the hookup before?). Does anyone know of a good source for decent ribbon wire?

I've got some of the cheap, thin multicolour stuff, but it's more fragile than I'd like.

Any thoughts?

it's the word 'decent' that thru me off. I have several yards from jameco, but it kinda sucks. I can only tell you where not to go...

Yeah, that's my problem too, I have tons of crappy stuff, but the good stuff I got from Rej a million years ago ran out and I haven't been able to track down more.

Paul is refering to the stuff Kunfuz was selling me before, wich was VERY nice quality.

I've been a huge slacker about that, sorry Paul. I'll probably meet Fred on the gmail chat around 2AM.... i'll shout him the word.

Btw, post some pics of your pedal board here, saw it on facebook, it's just Awesome! :D

Ha. Thanks Rej! Didn't mean to pester you, but you're always the one with the best hookups in the end. ;)

I'm taking that board out on Friday for a gig in Toronto! I'll try to post a pic here too.

Yeah! Saw the flyer for it, looks like a cool event. :)

It's perfect to remind me stuff and what not, i might sometime have too many things on my mind at once... and when you add other things, the precedent just kick themself out of my head.

I like the Amphenol Spectra-Strip. It will shrink back if you overheat it, but I use it without too many issues; it's just a matter of getting used to it.

The stuff I like can be purchased at Mouser: 523-111-2699-988

Not the cheapest wire in the world, but worth it, IMHO.

Had my chat with Fred yesterday night, he's going out for holydays AGAIN and will be back Aug28. But he have directed to MetroFunk a wire place in germany that are the wholesaler of what he was selling me and much more.

There's another place in the US that had been warmly recommended by Jack Deville that is called Squier (yeah...lol) but it's suppose to be some of the best stuff out there. Just need to find the site again.
