Hi everyone,

I'm working on putting together my Mimosa kit. I reached the point of adding the 22p capacitor (small round orange disc), and I'm noticing that there are three eyelet holes on the PC board, and I don't know which two of those three to put the resistor in. The PDF instructions says nothing about this, but please see my attached picture to see the guess that I'm taking as to which holes to use.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Those are the correct holes to use. The 2 on the left are connected together so it wouldn't make nay sense to use those holes.

Yes, but using the outer two holes makes as much sense as the right two (and the leads on the cap are plenty long enough to do so).

Moreover, I don't understand why there are three holes for this 2-lead component. Does anyone know why?

Some 22pf caps have wider lead spacing than others. Just like the trim pot has 5 holes on the PCB when the trimmer itself only has 3 leads. Some have their leads spaced differently than others. The extra holes allow for this.

Two two holes on the left are the same thing. They are connected together. They are both there because some caps are wider than others, therefore you can use either one.
