 Post subject: no sound in lil mimosa

so im getting no sound when engaged or in bypass mode. led light comes on. im assuming is the footswitch. so what lugs do i need to thow the ol dmm to? or a forum link.

Gonna need to see some nice up close and in focus pics of both sides of the board and all the wiring to the jacks, footswitch and power before anyone can comment!!

Also, make sure your jacks are wired properly, and what he said, clear close up pictures.

went ahead a reflowed some joints. i biased the trimpot to 1.66v as well

son of a chicken wing. just noticed out jack is wired backwards, fixed it. the house is asleep so im gonna have to wait til tomorrow to check it out.

I'd double-check the input jack, too....

update. i have sound in bypass mode now after swapping output jack wire. input was fine tho. led comes on, but no sound when pedal is on, well a very very faint sound when vol is at about noon. looks like i need some more troubleshooting help guys. thanks.

I don't see anything out of place on the board, so that's good. Your soldering looks pretty good, but then again it only takes a single wonky joint to screw the pooch. I would suggest THIS APPROACH next--only takes a few minutes and you'd be amazed how often it clears up this kind of problem.

One other thing I'll mention--I don't think that a misadjusted trimpot is capable of completely shutting off the output of this circuit, but you might want to just try dialing it through it's entire sweep range to insure that it's not part of the issue here.

i shall do both of what you said dvm. itll be a couple days. i start back to work tonight on a 12 hr rotation so i can do this tuesday night and update wednesday hopefully. thanks.

update. reheated all solder for a second time, and it works. thanks for the help guys.
