First build - I have a full guitar signal in bypass mode, LED comes on. When foot switch is engaged, I have no guitar sound - there is some "swipe" noise when the SUSTAIN pot is moved from CW to CCW and back.

Voltage readings are as follows (battery power 8.91 V)

Q1:
2.22 V
2.5 V
6.69 V

Q2:
4.23
4.77
4.68

Q3:

8.61
8.91

Q6:

2) 4.58
3) .1
4) .96
5) 0
6) 4.65
7) 4.65

I'll need to resize the photos I took with my iPhone, they apparently exceed the file size limit.

They will be sent tomorrow.

I used a signal generator and probe to inspect the circuit, and had tone at the base of all the transistors, at pin 8 of the IC, and at the eyelets of the input and output jacks - the tone, generated by an iPhone Oscillator app, at a pitch of 68.196 (420 Hz); amplitude -9.2 db, was also being modified by the different pots...

I'm somewhat baffled, hopefully the pictures will reveal whatever problem exists. All assistance is greatly appreciated.

PROBLEM RESOLVED - I'd gotten too cute with the small solder pads on both the foot switch PCB as well as when soldering the 4x2 header socket to the main PCB, and left a couple of them solder starved. Re-flowing some additional solder has resolved the problem.

Now, to play...after some rest, it's been a few days of troubleshooting. 8)

And, yeah - the problem IS the soldering.
