Hey guys,

Giving up on solo troubleshooting and asking for some help. Details:

Bypass: works
LED: turns on
When switched on:
If volume up and blend down: get signal
If volume up and blend up: no signal!!!
Bias: works, tuned in 1.6V on Q2

I took some voltage readings of the IC and compared to what someone else posted online:

PS: One Spot - 9.39V
IC1:
1) 8.8v (should be 4.5)
2) 8.64v (should be 4.5)
3) 0v (should be 4.5)
4) 9.39 (okay)
5) 4.69 (okay)
6) 4.71 (okay)
7) 4.83 (okay?)
8) 5.2 (okay)
9) 4.9 (okay)
10) 4.86 (okay)
11) 0 ground (okay)
12) 4.74 (okay)
13) 4.74 (okay)
14) 4.74 (okay)

I also replaced C12 as that one was a bit burnt.

Is the IC cooked? Any suggestions on what to test? ImageImageImageImage

If you're getting 0v on pin3, that means that the compressor signal is being grounded out. At the very least, it means that something isn't right in the actual compressor part of the circuit. R4 and R5 make up the bias voltage to pin 3. R5 should be a 470k resistor. Looks like you've got a 470ohm resistor in your pics, but it's a little hard to tell. If so, that would be your problem and explain why your pin 3 is being ground.

Yeah, it sure does look like a 470ohm at R5. Which would mean that you've probably got a 470K at R19, where the 470 should be. See labeled PCB diagram below for component positions.

P.S. I'm guessing that you already plan to do this, but be sure to trim those long wire ends before you mount the PCB in the enclosure....
