I have a question about the Mimosa Jr. transistor placement page: in the instructions, the image and text below it is copied from the trim pot page, except for one item highlighted in yellow. Are these really supposed to be soldered to the trim pot lugs?

It looks more likely that the beveled rectangles above and to the left of the trim pot should be highlighted.

The trimpot resistance determines the DC bias voltage on the source leg of transistor Q2, which is highlighted in yellow. So you adjust the trimpot setting while measuring the DC voltage on that leg, which should be in the 1.5 - 1.7 VDC range.

That's not really what I'm asking. Open the PDF, go to the Transistor page, and look at what holes on the circuit board are highlighted.

OK, now I understand. The diagram that's currently there refers to the trimpot adjustment procedure for the Q2 voltage bias, not the initial installation of the transistors. Below is the diagram that was included in the first set of Mimosa Jr. instructions, and should probably still be there along with the current diagram. This shows the location of the two transistors, which you have already correctly identified:
