It works... sort of.
With the source set between 1.5-1.7 I get a subtle compression (or I'm fooling myself).
I also can't turn the blend knob full clockwise without loosing ALL output. I cuts out at about 3p.m.

If I adjust the trimmer higher I can use the blend knob fully, but the compression becomes even more subtle, too subtle to use.

In circuit, my blend pot across pins 1 and 3 measures only 6.7K - could this be an issue?

p.s.
Sorry - no cellphone or digital camera here. I'd need to borrow one.
But maybe someone can help before it gets to that.

At that same Q2 source voltage setting, I get a distinct "squish" to my signal with the Blend control set around 2 o'clock. A higher setting will produce a bit more, but overall, this is a pretty subtle (transparent?) compressor compared to some others I've tried. It doesn't seem to add much of any noticeable sustain, just tames the initial attack. At least that's what my ears tell me.

I get that same resistance across the outer lugs of the Blend pot that you reported. It is very common to see resistance values lower than the rating of an individual component because of the common occurrence of parallel paths in a pedal circuit.

Some good photos are definitely indicated!
