Please understand that we want to help you. And know that we’ll do everything in our power to help you get your pedal working. But, you’ve got to help us help you.

First off, we understand that it can be frustrating when you can’t get your pedal working. We’ve been there. But please, refrain from blaming problems on bad components, or the circuit design. Lets just be honest here, 90% of the time any problem with your build was probably caused by something you did (or didn't do).

Next, have you done a forum search to see if someone has had the same problem as you? It is possible, and a solution may have already been discussed.

If you can’t find a solution already in the forum, then feel free to go ahead and post here. We’ll be happy to help. Please don’t email or send a private message with your problem. Its better to post it in the forum where everyone can chime in on what the problem may be and what the solution is.

Please, when posting make the title of your post as descriptive as possible. That will make it easier for others to find solutions in the future.

When posting for tech support, there nine things we need in order to adequately help you solve build issues:

1. A detailed explanation of what the problem is. (not just, “It doesn’t work, help”)
2. Pic of the top side of your PCB.
3. Pic of the underside of your PCB.
4. Pic that clearly shows your footswitch/jack wiring and the wires going to the PCB
5. A pic that clearly shows your wiring going from the PCB to the pots and any other switches
6. Is bypass working?
7. Does the LED come on?
8. If you answer yes to 5 and 6, what does the pedal do when it is "on"?
9. Battery or adapter.(if battery, is it good? If adapter, what type?)

And please, pretty, pretty please…when posting pics, be sure that they are large, well lit, and in focus--we can’t help much if we can’t tell what something is.
