Hi all,

Build #3 and first one I've ever gotten to work. Was delighted with myself this morning but now something's happened and there's no signal when I switch the effect off. It sounds beautiful and full when it's on which is great but there's nothing when I disengage. I'm assuming it's my poor wiring skills (again) - definitely improved upon previous disasters but evidently still causing problems.

Here's a link to pics: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing

I assume it's the wiring in the footswitch that's the issue? Thanks in advance

Yes, that’ll be the footswitch. It is likely the connection on switch lug 9. Reflow that connection. If you have a multimeter and can measure continuity, check continuity between lugs 8 and 9 in bypass mode.

Reflowed lug 9 to no avail. No continuity between 8 and 9. Should I reflow 8?

If it passes signal in effect mode, then the lug 8 joint must be good.

No continuity between lugs 8 and 9 when in bypass indicates a bad footswitch. Contact sales@buildyourownclone.com and request a replacement.
