After frustrating myself for a few weeks, I finally concede and am posting this here.
I have a Mega Chorus that is passing signal while bypassed, but sending no audio when it's engaged.
The issue happens when both on battery power and on 9v power adapter.
The LED lights up. No controls seem to react at all, since there's no audio coming through at all when the pedal's engaged.

File comment: These two points were close enough together that they bridged while I was soldering, so I did my best to try to cut that connection.

Hi - welcome to the forum! :D

Here is your first task: http://www.byocelectronics.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=52188

This symptom is often cause by a bad solder joint on one of the wires from the footswitch to the pcb, preventing signal either getting to the circuit, or from the circuit to the output jack. But it could be a multitude of things.

After you resolder, if you still aren't having any luck, let us know if you are able to measure voltages. That can help as well.

I had a similar problem. Try using a stereo instrument cable. Though it may seem obvious this worked for me. Now I have audio coming through but no chorus effect. Just muddy audio.
