Hi guys,
I just put together the Lil Reverb 1.1 pedal, and had confidence going into it but there's something wrong. The output level is very low. The reverb pot seems to be working, measuring about 44K with the power turned off. The other pot doesn't seem to be reading right, at 2.1K. The transistor reads 0.352V in one direction, 0.541V in the other direction.
I used tip negative, regulated DC power at +9VDC. Temperature controlled soldering iron set at 648 F. Tried a fresh 9V battery. The LED works. The bypass works.
Can you spot anything from these pictures that I might have done wrong?
I've also got a tremolo and analog chorus pedal to build. I'm used to point to point or laying out my own veroboard.. so this is a little new to me but I took my time populating the PCB. Hopefully it'll be a quick fix. I checked for shorts but couldn't locate any.. not yet anyway.
Adam
