Hello:

I've completed my build and have no effect when switched on. There is little difference between bypass and effect, maybe some effect from the rate knob but no flashing of LED. I originally wired the output jack backwards and got no signal at all. Could this have damaged the IC's. I have double checked my pc board for errors and polarity problems and the wiring seems to be correct.

Nope. Take some pics of your build, well-lit and in-focus of the top of the PCB, bottom of the PCB, and your overall wiring and we can see if anything stands out.

The BBD, clock, and op amp voltages look okay. Do your TL022 voltages oscillate (move up and down)?

My TL022 voltages are steady. No up and down. Should they fluctuate? I'm just powering the board no signal.

Yes, they should. That means you LFO is not working. See the LFO section of the schematic and pcb map below. You need to carefully inspect the components associated with the LFO and do some resoldering to make sure you don’t have a bad connection in that section.

Also, your bias voltages are off. Pin 3 of the 3007, and pins 3 and 5 of the 4558. These should be closer to 4.25. Have you tried adjusting the bias trim pot yet?

Thanks

I replaced the TL022 IC and adjusted the bias and got it to working.
