Did the recommended fixes, and the levels are totally perfect. The hum from the wet level pot is totally gone, and overall the pedal sounds fantastic! If anyone is wondering, with the 47K resistor between lug 2 and the PCB the effect level now ranges from off to maybe a little louder than the dry signal, which is exactly what I need.

I'm still getting a bothersome "pop" when I turn the effect on, though. I've only been playing at bedroom volume, so I'm not sure if it's going to be a deal breaker for my live rig at the moment. Any other ideas? I already removed the electrolytic caps and transistor exactly as mentioned.

does the pop repeat with the echoes, or just one pop? Add a 1M resistor. Connect it from the source (middle eyelet) of the empty Q7 spot to vref. Actually, you could just pull the north end of R26 and connect it to the source or Q7. f that doesn't help, try changing C23 to a larger value. 100n ~ 470n

Sorry, pops repeat with the echoes. I'll try that!
