All LEDs light up when engaged. No dry signal once pedal is clicked on. If I turn up all knobs I can get some noise to come out. It sounds like a sort of self-oscillation. During the self oscillation if I tap tempo it will change the rate of the self oscillation. Any help please.

Do you get any dry signal out of the dedicated dry out?

Yes. Clicked on I have dry signal *out of the dry out. Clicked off I have dry signal *out of the dry out. The signal stays at unity and is totally unaffected.

Sorry for the delayed response.

No worries. We're not in any rush.

Please take voltage readings at the square solder pads of the A, B, and C diodes. Take readings in bypass and in "on" while in normal (not trails) mode.

It's been over a year, a wild and crazy year. But I finally am able to work on things and I took the voltages you asked for.

ON:

A2) 0
B) .02
C) 0

OFF:
A1) 0
A2) 0
B) 0
C) .02

Please take voltage readings of pins 3, 5, and 7 of the PIC16F684 chip, both in on and bypass states.

Found out that the meter I was using is bad. I'm picking new one up today and will post the proper values.

Resolved: It was the 571. I had some spare IC's from old projects and I just so happened to have a spare. I think I got it originally to add to the Mega Chorus to make it less noisy but after I put it on clean power the noise really wasn't an issue. So I popped the spare in and poof! Sweat warm delay. I can't wait to finally add this to my board. Right now I have like 4 delays on there. Delay is my favorite effect and I'm really happy to have one I've built. Troubleshooting this and going through other old forum posts for clues really gave me a better idea about how the delay is actually functioning, so I think it was worth the effort. It's been about a year since I really had a work bench set up so I'm excited to get back into the hobby. I think the Crown Jewel is next. I'm also planning on building my own effect on some veroboard, probably something simple. Maybe a boost or compressor. Anyway, thanks for the help and for your time.

Glad to hear you got it working. Having that spare 571 on hand really worked out! Enjoy the pedal.
