Hi,

My echo royal is finished.
Everything is working but i have a issue, when i'm playing and i turn the pedal on, it takes the sound away / volume drop and than comes back. I doesn't take long but when playing some milliseconds are important..

When i'm picking or strumming a chord and in the middle of some chords i turn it on it takes a bit before the volume is back.

Here a link with video footage of the problem.
Hope you guys hear what i mean

Thanks in advance

Maybe the C8 .47uF cap is over-compensating (mentioned in step 5 of the instructions). I'd try replacing it with the stock .047uF. You might get a pop when you switch now, but we'll at least know where the problem is and how to correct it.

Also, double check and make sure you used .047uF (473) caps in the C23/24 positions. These are located near the SW2 eyelets and the diode A and B spaces to the right of the 16F684 chip.

FYI, "byoc" = Keith Vonderhulls, a.k.a. "le Grande Fromage", the BYOC owner. Just sayin'....

Not to worry! I was just "pulling your leg", as we say. Keith and the rest of us here at the forum are always happy to help out a customer with a problem!
