I'm currently putting together the analog delay kit and want to use it in a microphone level input/output situation in a low-impedance environment (200-600 ohms). Obviously in the bypass mode this shouldn't be a problem. But I'm concerned that the rated 450K input/100K output impedances will be an issue, as will the effective throughput gain which probably needs to be approximately unity at the impedance level I need. It looks like changing R1 and R35 to something like 470 ohms might be enough to resolve the impedance issue but will I still have enough signal throughput for the circuit to work as I intend? Some opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

-Dave

Lowering R1/35 to 470ohm will have a pretty significant impact on your signal level. You can theoretically increase the gain of the input buffer by increasing R7, and the gain of the output buffer by reducing R30 (wet signal) and R31 (dry signal) to compensate for the signal loss, but I'm not sure how that will affect the noise floor of the circuit. I guess it can't hurt to try. I think the most ideal solution would be to build a separate impedance converter.
