Looking for a little help here. This is my second build so pretty much a complete newb. My Tube Screamer clone plugged in on the first try but this one has been giving me trouble. I did have to correct a mistake with a wrong resistor that I caught at the end so hopefully no damage there.

There is a nice clean bypass and the led comes on and changes when the rate knob is adjusted. If I adjust the trim, I get a pop at certain points and sometimes the signal cuts out. Depth doesn't seem to do anything. I get a very small oscillation with the rate cranked all the way but it is very subtle.

Thanks for any help you can give! Happy to post more pics if needed.

Thanks Morgan, I did forget to mention that I already tried the reflow once. No obvious problems that I can see after cleaning everything up.

Does the LED blink and can you adjust the rate with the rate knob?

Please take voltages of the V3207 and V3102. The pin in the upper left hand corner is pin 1. The pin numbers go around in sequence counter-clockwise, so upper left hand corner is 1, lower left hand corner is 4, lower right hand corner is 5, and upper right hand corner is 8.

Yes, the LED blinks and changes rate with the rate knob.

Here are the voltage readings that I got for both chips:

V3207
Pin 1: 0.0
Pin 2: 5.2
Pin 3: 4.8
Pin 4: 10.2
Pin 5: 10.9
Pin 6: 5.2
Pin 7: 6.6
Pin 8 6.6

V3102
Pin 1: 10.5
Pin 2: 5.1
Pin 3: 0.0
Pin 4: 5.2
Pin 5: 0.3
Pin 6: 10.3
Pin 7: 3.6
Pin 8: 10

What power supply are you using? Why are you getting almost 11 volts on pin 5 of the 3207?

The first set of readings were taken from a 9v battery. I just plugged it into a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power and got very similar readings.

It is possible that I am not checking correctly but I have read other posts to make sure I'm on the right track.

New readings from the Pedal Power on the 3207 are:

1: 0
2 5.4
3 4.7
4 10.5
5: 11.2
6 5.4
7: 6.4
8 6.4
