Hi Guys,

The pedal worked for many years. I pulled it out of storage today, fired it up and I get no delay. Bypass works normally. LED comes on when I engage the switch. When the switch is engaged I do get the dry signal, but the low end is rolled off somewhat. No delay. I've tried resetting the trim pots - and no response. I can't get any clock noise or whining sounds. Any ideas?

Thanks

You most likely had a bad solder joint that finally let go. How does the dry out sound compared to the bypass?

With the switch engaged, the dry output sounds the same as when the effect is bypassed. With the switch disengaged, dry has no output.

Check that transistor to the left of the footswitch in that last pic. I see an unclipped leg sticking out...it appears to be completely unsoldered.

When the LED is on, dry output sounds good. When it's in bypass, there is now sound?

That transistors only deals with turning the LED on and off, so while it does need to be soldered better, it doesn't have anything to do with the current symptoms.

OK. I re soldered that transistor. Now the dry output is silent. The effect output has no delay and sounds identical with the foot switch engaged or disengaged.

Your footswitch wiring has probably come loose. Try reflowing all of your soldering on your wiring at the footswitch and PCB.

Super - re-flowing the foot switch gave me my short delay back! Thank you!

But... when I switch the long/short switch I get no long delay. At any setting for BIAS2 there is no delay.

I'd start by reflowing the A-B-C-D wire connections at both ends, as well as the six toggle switch joints.
