I built the Analog Delay. All of the pedal's functions work. However, if the repeats are turned up past halfway the pedal starts ticking as soon as you click the switch. If the repeats are turned up past 3/4, it goes into loud infinite ticking as soon as the switch is engaged. With guitar signal coming through, the pedal also goes into infinite repeats very easily (these repeats quickly degrade into the clicking sound). I have the Repeat Limit trimpot set as low as it will go.

The issue seems very similar to one that ikeman868 posted about in October (viewtopic.php?f=20&t=59726). It seems like there was a suspected issue with his V3205 chip, but I couldn't see if the issue was resolved.

I've built a few BYOC pedals and they've all been fantastic! This one was a lot of fun to build and if I can get this ticking issue in check I'm sure it will be even more fun to play.

I can send more pictures or video or voltages readings if it would help.

I really appreciate any help I can get!

Do you have your repeats limit trimmer maxed out?

I double-checked just to be sure, but, no, the repeats limit trimmer is turned all the way down. If I turn it up, the pedal goes crazy with the ticking. If I have it maxed out the pedal goes into infinite ticking even with the repeats pot turned almost fully counter-clockwise.

When I said, "maxed out" I meant in terms of limiting the repeats. So if I understand you correctly, it's still going into self-oscillation with the repeats limiting trimpot turned full turn in the direction that limits the number of repeats. If that's the case, we probably need to send you a larger value trimmer. You can email sales@buildyourownclone.com and ask them for a 200k trimmer.

Yes, that's correct. I had the trimmer maximally limiting repeats. I'll send an email. Thanks for your replies.
