Build Your Own Clone Message Board

Hey all! Just wanted to report that page 5 of the Echo Royal kit says that there are three (3) 3k3/332 resistors included with the kit, and there were with mine, but I only used two of them. Once I was done populating resistors on the board I spent significant time going back over the board ensuring I didn't miss anything, and I'm pretty confident I didn't as my pedal is working as expected.

The total count of in the BOM on page 5 is 62, yet there are only 61 resistor installation locations highlighted on page 8. I really hate ending up with parts at the end of a relatively tedious build, and I'm sure correcting the count for the 3k3/332 resistors on page 5 / that get included with the kit to two would help others potentially going on a wild goose chase.

Other than that, thanks for such a fantastic kit. Pedal works a treat! Also, thanks for the extra resistor!

Thank you for confirming this. I spent a good half hour yesterday looking for another place to put that third resistor before convincing myself I could omit it.

We'll get that fixed in the instructions. Should be two 3K3 rezzies, not three.
