Hi all,

Just resoldered my ping pong delay as I am having troubles with it . I get a ground hum in bypass and silence when the effect is on. When I flip the toggle switch I do hear the repeats at least.

I wonder if I did more harm than good trying to reflow the solder where I hadn't made a good contact originally. It worked when I first built it but has since failed.

There's a very extensive troubleshooting section at the back of the Ping Pong Delay instructions starting at page 20. Suggest that you try working through that.

thank you that was exactly what i needed! turned out one of the wires going from pin 4 on the foot switch to the TIP contact on the out jack was disconnected. she's back in action!
