I've just completed my Echo Royal build and I believe everything is working as it should. However, There does seem to be a very little control with the mix knob. In other words, with it barely cracked open I'm getting tons of delay. Of course its always possible that I've got a wrong component in there somewhere (especially with this circuit), so I'm just checking to see if this is normal operation, or do I need dig in there?

Could you post a good photo or two of the PCB showing all the components? It needs to be large, well-focused and well-lit so that we can see the detail necessary to distinguish out of place components.

That's not normal. You've likely got a resistor or two mixed up in the passive crossfader. As was mentioned, we're going to need to see pics with particular detail on the PCB around the mix pot eyelets. Make sure that your color contrast is accurate so that we can read the resistor bands.

here you go. hopefully this helps. The the way, I'm very happy with the pedal and I'm able to use it as is (with the mix control act about 8:30), but if there is a fix I'd love to try it.

I'm not seeing anything out of place. Maybe you have a delay chip producing a louder-than-usual output signal. Maybe you have some values mixed up in the delay line that are creating more gain, and I'm just not seeing it. You can increase the value of the 18k resistor that is next to the mix pot eyelet. This will reduce the wet signal and bring noon the mix knob closer to 50/50.
