Hey there, just finished building the Analog Vibrato, was a ton of fun! I am a bit confused however, this is my first build so pardon me if it's obvious, but it doesn't seem like there's enough space to fit a 9V battery into the enclosure without having to keep the back off and have it hanging out. Is that how it's supposed to be?

In which dimension does it not fit? In mine I discovered that I had to turn the ramp footswitch so that the terminals pointed *away* from the battery gap in order for the battery to fit. Careful of shorting it out against the inside of the box ...

Fits fine in mine--see photo below. Could you post a photo or two of yours?

It's possible that your two footswitch holes are drilled slightly closer together, I suppose. If this is the case, simply drilling out the holes slightly might give you the extra room you need.

There can also be a little bit of play in the footswitch holes, so perhaps try loosening the nuts and setting them farther apart.

Thanks for the replies, I referenced your photo and realized my ramp switched was installed backwards so that was the issue!

I'm not sure how easy it is to change the diagram in the kit instructions to show the necessary orientation of that switch, but perhaps the text could be amended with a "suggestion" that the switch be turned the opposite way (from that illustrated) if the user would like to be able to use a 9V battery.
