Is the new version out yet?

Christmas money/Dollar owed is waiting to be spent and what to spend it on? Chorus and a Triboost are at the top of the list. Both are showing "out of stock" with Vibrotronic right now. The Boost I can wait for, the Chorus I want RIGHT NOW!!!

I've Emailed Vibro and asked them when they expect stock but can't find any news on the new Chorus pedal yet.

Any news would be good.

The chorus is basically discontinued now, it'll be replaced with the flanger when Kieth gets it sorted.

Is Keith planning a replacment chorus or maybe a combo unit with chorus. It was a great pedal and I have some people who would like some. Why get rid of a good thing? I was just ready to buy about 6 kits when they were discontinued...

The flanger will have the option of modding it to a chorus.

Does anyone know if this Flanger will be comparable to a Deluxe Electric Mistress? I'm holding off purchasing one in the hopes that I will be able to get what I want from BYOC's

If it can be modded to a chorus, do you know if that will be something that will be switchable externally, or will it be a mod on the board? I'd love the flexibility of having just one pedal that can do both as necessary, but I'd definitely use the chorus more.

I'm not sure where it stands in comparison to an Electric Mistress, I do know it's not a clone of any one flanger, more of a Frankenstein style mix of various analogue flangers.

As for the modding to a chorus, I would imagine it'll be something that can be switched externally.

Last I heard from Keith on the Flanger, it was going to have the option to add an external switch to give you chorus/flanger/vibrato modes, but it wouldn't be part of the standard build.

That was a little while ago, and from what I can gather from the forums, the flanger is being held up by revisions to the circuit. AFAIK, it's so that Keith can retain all the cool features and mods already in mind for the flanger, but in the most convenient arrangement for building/manufacture. I'm not privy to any exclusive info, just relaying what I've gathered from the BYOC forums during the long but still eager wait for the flanger to meet its public :D

Waiting for this one eagerly! Right now I am using an old Morley chorus that takes up way too much space on my board.

I *DIG* the idea of being able to switch between chorus and flanger.
