just built my delay. i would consider replacing the 25k delay pot with a 50k pot...

but my wiring's too good...

no really. it's so neat that i would have to do much disasembling to swap it out.

One that might help you in the future when looking into delay time features is to know just how milliseconds break down. For example, it takes 1,000 milliseconds to make up one second. This makes 300 milliseconds less than 1/3 of a second. I like using the BYOC delay more for room ambience than as a repeat machine. I like the way I can sort of fake some of Jimmy Page's milder, short delay, Echoplex settings with it a lot. It's good for getting some nice, simple reverbs too.

I also wanted to increase the delay times but the analog effect would make the repaeats on the longer delay times sound shitty as hell. I sold my BYOC delay to a guy who uses it as a reverb effect. I use a rack delay where I have more control over the hi and low pass filters.

The Digi Delay here definitly won't get you Pink Floyd style delay at all. I use mine as a noisemaker and rockabilly/fat boost delay.

i have a question about the self-oscilation:

i know there is a mod to remove the self oscilation. with this mod, when i turn the repeats all the way up, do the notes repeat forever, or still fade?

i am trying to find a good setting for volume swells, but if i turn the repeats up enough, it oscilates.

here's the insides: i felt it was my best to date:

but.......

that was until i was done from my bender. that's one of the cleanest builds i have ever seen:

The bender does look nice, but you've gotta give most of the credit to the guy who designed the layout...it practically wires itself. ;)

If you use the 15k repeats resistor, you will not get self-oscillation. At full turn clock wise you will get the maximum number of repeats that will still fade.

About the delay, is there any way to remove the analog-ness of it and make it more digitalish?
