Your envelope filter will distort if you do not dial it in right. This is normal. Listen to this clip. I play several licks. The first time I play the lick, I have my range knob turned up too high and it sounds very fizzy. Then I adjust my range knob and play the same lick and it sound the way a DOD440 should.

Glad this message is up here because mine distorts really badly too. It seems there is a very small range where it works correctly.

Does the audio link still exist anywhere? The link here seems dead.

Im a big fan of the Source Audio stuff. I have the original bass envelope filter, but there is a deluxe that has way more features and control. If its good enough for Mike Gordon of Phish, its good enough for any of us
