I've had 7 successful builds after this one, and finally and coming back to troubleshoot this head scratcher.

The LED comes on, the knobs do nothing. Turning the adjustment pot on the board does nothing.

Bypass works and passes clean signal.

The board has been reflowed a couple of times. I am able to trace signal through parts of the board, mostly in the lower left corner components where the wiring attaches to the PCB. Still no schematic skills! :)

Saw the thread about the IC pin voltages. Only pins 6 and 7 have voltage (two middle pins opposite of pin 1) of 12 V. There is no signal to be found on the IC, if that matters.

Suggestions welcome. Thanks Wizards!

Ignore the dog hairs please, they aren't really part of this build hee hee...

Oh geez. I've been staring at this for weeks!

Will report back as soon as that's corrected. Thank you for the observation!

Ok swapped the mis-placed resistors, but still no effect when engaged.

Further thoughts? The ic still has the same voltages as previously noted.

Could you please post a picture of the DC jack wiring? from one of the pics, it looks like this might be your issue...

I'll grab pic of that when I'm back from vacation, but if the led lights when effect is engaged wouldn't that indicate proper dc connection? Only wall wart is used, no battery.
