Oh also lugs 2&3, 5&6 and 8&9 did not beep. I forgot to add that. I also engaged the switch and made sure at that point 2&3 DID beep, and they did. So I switched back, tested again, confirmed that lugs 1&2 beeped showing continuity and then continued the test and got the data I listed above in my last post.

Well, if those readings are correct, the footswitch is either totally shot or maybe solder leaked down under the PCB and shorted everything together. In any case, it's not usable as is. I'd toss it, get another footswitch, and just wire it to the main board as shown in the instructions.

That second guess was ky thought exactly. I figured solder had to have crept between the pcb and the footswitch and made a short across some traces. Thats really quiet a shame. I was hoping this pcb would make life easier but its been a huge mess. Nobodies fault but mine I suppose, I was as careful as I could be but I think youre right. I will have to do this the old fashioned way. If anyone else has any input Id appreciate it.

When you get your new stomp switch be sure to give this thread a read before doing anything…

Ahhh....yes...I guess I shoulda found that before I got myself into all this mess. If this screwt footswitch wasnt my fault and I had checked it to cofirm it before hand I guess I could have gotten a replacement but I gues this ones on me. Good lesson learned the hard way. I will never make that mistake again. Thank you for the link.
