Five hours well spent today assembling a Lazy Spocket...fired it up and it worked first time! :)

It's pretty subtle...much more so than the slightly glitchy 'Slow Gear' in the Boss GT-8. The more I played with it, the more I liked it. Is there any tweaking possible to extend the swell time to a few seconds...the most I get with the Sprocket is 1 second or so (this is normal, right?).

I stuck with the 2N5457 transistor. The trimpot is fully clockwise...always makes me nervous to have any parameter at an extreme  I'd be interested to hear how it worked out for anyone else.

Also, the AC adaptor jack appears to have changed: the nut goes on the outside and it protudes a bit more than the other ones I've seen pictures of...no probs, mind.

Have to dismantle it now to work on a finish...I couldn't wait ;-)

Ill have to check where I set the trimpot.. i set mine to work well with the mini-humbuckers on my Les Paul .
What manner of finish are you considering?

Something simple:
  • wire brushed finish
  • full acrylic transfer on the top (design-in-progress)
  • couple of coats of lacquer
  • also got some black foam sheet for a flat base

Got a 250+, Shredder, and Tremolo to work on now!
