this is the version before the 6 opamp one being sold now.

when i turn it on there is a huge low frequency boost in the sweep (at all settings), not the nice watery one it originally had.

i get the feeling it's the trimpot inside that needs adjusting, but i'm not sure how to go about that and the PDF instructions gloss over that procedure.

help?

just tweak the trimpot untill you hit the "sweet spot" believe me, when you hit it, you'll know!

thing is, what if it still has that gawdawful bass boost?

in case this helps explain it, this was the after-effect of trying to make the resonance knob mod work.

Just fiddle with the trimpot and see what happens. If it doesn't help, then it's most likely a case of a cold joint that finally came loose.
